Directions – Enter from Harvey Rd. East, if traveling eastbound it is the first entrance on the left after Veteran’s Park.

Along with your Household Hazardous Wastes- please bring NEW/USED Books along with any monetary donations.
These books and monetary donations are assisting a local non profit organization- Books and a Blanket.

Medical Sharps & Medications
Syringes and other medical sharps pose a SEVERE HEALTH RISK to collection and processing crews if not disposed of properly. Never place loose syringes or sharps in trash containers, please secure all syringes and sharps in a sealed container such as a sharps jug, coffee can, milk jug, etc. You may also contact local pharmacies to inquire if they accept these items for safe disposal. Syringes and other medical sharps are not accepted at the Household Hazardous Waste Event.
Likewise, if you have leftover or unwanted prescription and non-prescription drugs that require immediate disposal, check with your pharmacy or sheriff’s department to see if they have a safe disposal program. All medications are accepted without question or cost at the Household Hazardous Waste event.
To safely store and handle Household Hazardous Wastes, Please follow these procedures on handling & transporting:
*Store products upright in original containers
*Never Mix Products
*Identify the contents if labels are missing
*Place leaking containers in larger containers & use cat litter as an absorbent
*Keep products in a dry cool place
*Do not transport or store hazardous waste near pets & children.
